This Meissen plate recently sold at an auction house.
A little bit of history on this item. Approximately 10 years ago this item was brought to one of our Antique Appraisal Day events. A year later it was consigned to us to sell from the Estate of the owner who sadly passed away. It was sold to private collector. In 2016 we helped another collector acquire this item. This plate was acquired for the new owner for a pretty penny. Sadly the new owner and a good friend suddenly fell ill and passed away suddenly. This plate was consigned to the auction house to be sold and it sold for a wholesale price of only $2750.00.
Sadly another highly collectable item from same estate has gone up for auction and sold for much less than it is worth.
